Mutual trust

Use the service responsibly, keep your credentials secure, and respect the security controls that protect all users.

Security

Shared responsibility

We provide safeguards and availability targets; you manage access to your account, devices, and third-party integrations.

Know what to expect

Key points cover acceptable use, availability, data ownership, disclaimers, and how changes take effect.

  • You must be legally able to form a binding contract and follow applicable laws.
  • Provide accurate registration details and keep contact information current.
  • Maintain the security of your credentials, MFA methods, and trusted devices.
  • Notify us promptly of suspected account compromise.

Acceptable use

  • No attempts to bypass authentication, interfere with service stability, or probe security controls without authorization.
  • No unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, including malware distribution or impersonation.
  • No automated scraping or excessive calls that degrade service quality.
  • Respect third-party terms when connecting external identity providers or clients.

Reliability, data, and third parties

Availability

We aim for high availability, but maintenance windows and emergencies may impact uptime. We are not responsible for outages caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

Data ownership

You retain ownership of your data. We process it to provide authentication per the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for lawful use of data you submit to the service.

Third-party services

Integrations (email/SMS providers, analytics, cloud infrastructure) are provided under their own terms. We ensure appropriate security commitments and minimize what is shared.

Disclaimers and limitations

Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid for the service in the prior twelve months (if any).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; the above may not apply to you where prohibited.

Changes, suspension, and termination

Service changes

  • We may update features, interfaces, or policies to improve security and usability.
  • Material changes to these Terms or the Privacy Policy will be communicated in advance when required.
  • Continuing to use the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access for security risks, legal requirements, or material breaches of these Terms.
  • You may stop using the service at any time; account deletion is handled through the Privacy Policy process.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the service ends, and we will handle data according to the Privacy Policy.
